What you will do:

CyberArk is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you will seamlessly blend technical expertise with sales acumen and play a pivotal role for the technical win during the sales cycle. Proactively guiding and overseeing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and working in close collaboration with the sales and product management team to advocate for our solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop an in-depth technical understanding of CyberArk and related technologies, staying abreast of industry advancements.
  • Lead technical pre-sales activities, securing opportunities for success.
  • Navigate the technical process adeptly, addressing any escalations with finesse.
  • Identify new sales prospects by cultivating and nurturing relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Articulate CyberArk’s technical value proposition with eloquence and precision.
  • Craft compelling responses to the functional and technical aspects of RFIs/RFPs.
  • Ensure the success of customer proof-of-concepts (POCs).
  • Effectively convey client requirements to our Product Management teams, providing technical perspectives at CyberArk’s and partners’ seminars, as well as industry trade shows.

What you need to succeed:

 

  • 8+ years of presales experience within the high-tech sales sector, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in cloud technologies and environments is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Active Directory administration and operations, with a solid grasp of UNIX/Linux.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of delivering high-quality product demonstrations to technical and executive audiences alike.
  • Understanding of security concepts and experience in developing security roles within organizations to meet functional, technical, and regulatory requirements.
  • Operational experience with LDAP Directories and LDAP Authentication methods.
  • Enterprise application authentication experience is advantageous (e.g., .NET, Java, CLI).
  • Preferred experience in Application Development and scripting.
  • CISSP or SANS certification is a plus.
  • A smart, bold, yet humble attitude, conducive to collaborative work with CyberArk team members across the organization.
