Job Description:

CyberArk is seeking a HR business partner to support our employees and managers in Japan. In this role, you will be implementing and executing on HR policies, procedures and strategies. You are expected to provide hands-on support and be the main go to person for Japan team members when they have any queries. As the main HR person in Japan team, you will also work with the recruitment team based in Singapore to attract the best talent into the Japan team. Salary processing and social insurance processes are outsourced and will be managed by our Payroll team. This person will only be required to help assist on employee queries with the vendors as and when required.


This position will report to the HR Director – APJ. Success in this role will require a can-do attitude, willingness to learn and an ability to prioritize and multitask.



  • Be the main go to person for employees in Japan on HR queries and liaise with payroll team in Israel when required.
  • Responsible for in-country HR operations, work rules administration for the Japan team
  • Implement and execute HR policies, procedures and programs. Provide counsel and resolution of HR issues to ensure compliance with applicable labour legislation.
  • Interfaces with legal / regulatory agencies on HR related topics.
  • Work with the APJ recruitment team to support Japan hiring strategy when required
  • Coordinates & monitors relationships with HR service providers;
  • Drives compliance according to set standards (global, region, in country);
  • Provide support for global/ regional HR initiatives as required.
  • Provides counsel and resolution of HR issues to ensure compliance with all applicable Labour Legislation and effectively manages employee/management relationships.




  • At least 5-7 years of broad and progressive HR Generalist Experience
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, problem solving, strategic thinking, experience working with HR systems and decision making skills;
  • Adopts an adaptable mindset, is agile and understands the importance of being a team player
  • With experience handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while achieving results on time and on budget;
  • Business level English communication and written skills
  • Highly motivated, energetic, positive working attitude and a quick learner
  • Experience in the IT Technology industry and matrixed environments is a good to have.
