What you will do:

 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager of Business Development to lead our newly formed team in Hyderabad, reporting into the Head of the Marketing Center of Excellence. As the BDR Manager, you will play a pivotal role driving our growth strategy and through effective lead management and sales pipeline development. Your primary responsibility will be to build and manage a team of results-driven Business Development Representatives (BDRs) who will focus primarily on converting a high volume of global inbound leads, with scale, into a robust sales pipeline.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

BDR Team Building & Readiness:

 

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of BDRs to handle inbound leads efficiently.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
  • Orchestrate inbound business development operations, reporting and campaigns by establishing workflows, writing scripts, motivating the team, and tracking and reporting success.
  • Develop and drive a repeatable onboarding process to ramp new hires quickly and effectively.
  • Provide hands-on coaching on messaging/positioning, cadence, personas, and tools use. And ensure the team is competent in representing CyberArk with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings.

 

Lead Management & Sales Pipeline Development:

 

  • Develop and implement a systematic approach to follow up on inbound leads promptly.
  • Prioritize leads based on potential and urgency. 
  • Ensure timely and personalized communication with prospects, using various tools.
  • Work closely with BDRs to qualify leads and move them through the sales funnel.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead conversion.
  • Monitor pipeline metrics and adjust strategies as needed.

 

Tool Utilization:

 

Leverage tools such as:

  • Salesforce (SFDC) for lead tracking and management.
  • Sales Engagement Platform Outreach (Salesloft, Outreach) for automated sales execution.
  • Web Chat (Drift, Qualified) for real-time chat interactions.
  • Project Management (Asana, Monday.com) for team collaboration and task management.
  • Contact Acquisition (LinkedIN, ZoomInfo) for contact research.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

 

  • Collaborate with global marketing and sales teams to align strategies.
  • Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
  • Work closely with sales to ensure smooth handoffs from BDRs.

 

Reporting and Analysis:

 

  • Regularly report on BDR performance, lead conversion rates, and pipeline growth.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose actionable solutions and share best practices and lessons learned with other teams.

 

 

How you will stand out from the crowd:

 

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant BDR, SDR, Sales, Demand Generation or Operations experience
  • BSC/MSC or MBA degree in business management, operations or marketing
  • Proven successful experience in managing similar BDR teams for market leading brands, preferably in hypergrowth B2B environments - globally
  • Highly driven individual with an execution focus and strong sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated ability to build teams and business processes
  • Highly motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Be a change agent with a people-first approach and strong problem-resolution skills.
  • Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills.
