SEO Specialist

CyberArk is looking for a SEO Senior Specialist. This newly created position is supported at all levels of our business. Backed by budget and enthusiasm from our digital experience team, you will play a critical role in redefining and executing our SEO strategy. This person will work closely with our content team, website developers and external SEO agency to build out new initiatives and processes. Long-term, you will own the SEO strategy for CyberArk’s customer facing domains globally.

Responsibilities for SEO Specialist

· Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings

· Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materials

· Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts

· The skill of articulating the What, Why and How of SEO to the business

· Work in conjunction with content writers, product marketers, web developers and external SEO agency to recommend and implement SEO tactic in alignment with brand strategy

· A good understanding of both technical and content driven optimizations

Technical SEO Skills

· Ability to identify and correct crawlability issues such as broken links, robots.txt, URL structures, and the continued development of an internal linking structure

· Experience managing all HTTP status codes, duplicate content/canonicals and H1/H2, page title and meta descriptions

· Experience in the development of structured data: schema/markups and xml sitemap management

· Ability to monitor core web vitals and escalate speed related issues to development team

Content Driven SEO Skills

· Support content team through keyword research to identify audience pain points (navigational, information, transactional)

· Ability to create highly specific, organized lists of target keywords based on initiatives/goals and existing website content. Benchmark initial performance and evaluate pre/post-performance

· Identify opportunities, gaps and optimal copy for website content based on intel from keyword research and analytics tools

· Conduct competitive keyword research and provide recommendations to content team and make quick changes for long term wins

· Help keep information fresh by providing recommendations on safety trends/hot topics, retiring obsolete/expired pages, or re-fresh existing content

· Understand short tail of vanity terms vs. the long tail of search

SEO Analytics and Reporting Skills

· Perform on page SEO audits and technical audits and provide active guidance to development and content teams on implementing the recommendations

· Develop ongoing reporting (Adobe Analytics, SEMRush, Excel) and analytics (Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to share with partners and discuss results, ideas, trends and considerations

· Daily management and Monitoring of SEMRush account, communicating any finds or insights to key stakeholders

· Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns

Requirements:

· 3-5+ years experience in SEO

· Deep knowledge of what makes a website search-friendly globally

· Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO

· Experience in collaborating with developers, content marketers and others to provide SEO recommendations

· Self-starter and problem-solver

· Experience in website redesigns/migrations is a strong plus

· Excellent communication skills, can speak to SEO with other SEOs but also explain it to non-digital marketers

· Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
