SDET Manager

Job description:

As a Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) manager, you will lead our elite cross-organizational team responsible for the automation infrastructure and performance testing of CyberArk's SaaS products, helping us improve our test automation efforts across our entire technology stack. As a leader you are required to be self-motivated, have a strong background in development with a strong foundation of automated QA that spans all phases of development. To be successful in this role you must be passionate about building test frameworks, streamlining CI/CD pipelines, designing and implementing solutions that can improve the development and release process.

What will you do:

• Lead closely automation and performance engineers to design and develop a robust automation infrastructure and reusable architecture for automation and performance testing
• Responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring new automation engineers, including designing and reviewing complex code
• Manage end-to-end Automation and Performance flows, including test plan reports, infrastructure, etc.
• Support an on-going product release train and work on multiple global projects under tight deadlines
• Develop automation to fully test the organization end-to-end scenarios to release with greater confidence
• Implement pre-requisites components to enable an easier, better, and faster way to automate tests

What you need to succeed:

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field

• 8+ years’ experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test
• 3+ years of management experience
• 3+ years’ experience in performance testing
• Experience in building automation frameworks for SaaS products as part of infrastructure team.
• Broad experience with CI tools & technologies (Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, K8S, and Git)
• Proven experience in creating projects from scratch
• Fast learner and adapt quickly in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Deep understanding of QA agile methodologies including QA best practices across SDLC
• Experience in scale and load testing
• Take ownership with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

How will you stand out from the crowd:

• Experienced with Selenium or other web browser automation systems
• Experience with API automation
• Experience in the Cybersecurity field
