Customer Success Engineer

The primary responsibility of the Program Success Engineer is to ensure customer successfully adopt the CyberArk Dynamic Access Provider (DAP) product suite by providing technical and best practices guidance.  DAP is used to secure CI/CD pipelines, automation tooling (such as Ansible), container platforms, cloud services, and software applications.  The goal of the function is to ensure customer is successful in implementing and adopting the solution, driving value and return on investment through monitoring and managing of customer health, customer experience, and customer satisfaction.

 

Activities will be focused primarily on customers who have already gone through a deployment via Security Services, however you may also work with customers during the pre-implementation phase.

 

In performing this responsibility, you'll be assigned with multiple simultaneous customers located in North America. There may be a need to work with customers in other parts of the world if the CyberArk resources in those regions need assistance.  This position requires up to 20% nationwide travel.

 

In addition, the position requires providing technical support activities and managing technical relationships with customers. You'll report to the Director of Service Excellence, Alice Tewksbury.

 

You have: 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent work experience
  • Two or more years of experience in a technical / implementation role deploying and/or supporting enterprise software
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Information Security and Network Architecture concepts
  • Familiarity with software lifecycle and orchestration tooling
  • Experience with UNIX operating systems
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills; ability to train technical users and conduct technical presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to assume sole and independent responsibilities, ability to self-manage through ambiguity and escalate at appropriate times
  • Detailed oriented and strong organization skills; ability to keep track of and prioritize numerous detail-intensive, independent tasks and ensure accurate completion to deadline
  • Exceptional customer facing skills; responsive, approachable, and customer focused
  • Demonstrate positive horizontal influence with others through productive collaborations and alignments 
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter, proactive and fire in the belly; ability to assist the Sales process by proactively identify opportunities and coordinate actions items between the Client and the Sales team 

 

 

Nice to Haves:

 

  • Two or more years of experience in a developer role
  • Experience with programming / scripting
  • Familiarity with PKI
