What will you do:

CyberArk is seeking a Research IT  intern to join our Research IT team.
As a Research IT  Technician, you will maintain and provide support for computer systems and networks for the Lab’s developers and researchers in Israel and around the globe. You will be required to learn new tech fields independently and solve technical IT and application problems remotely or in person. The successful candidate must demonstrate a high professional level,  solid communication and customer service skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

 

  • Installing, upgrading, and setting up laptops, printers, operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), and 3rd parties applications (and other necessary equipment)
  • Supporting the roll-out of new 3rd party applications and hardware
  • Monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer systems and networks problems
  • Cisco network switches + Wifi AP maintenance and operation
  • Datacenter maintenance
  • Cloud apps support (AWS, GCP, Azure and Office 365, Slack, Confluence, etc.) 
  • Image computers according to specification using SCCM/JAMF/MDM/ACRONIS/GHOST
  • Compliance and Security patching
  • Backup and Restore
  • Active directory maintenance
  • VMware maintenance
  • Firewall maintenance

 

What you need to succeed:

  • University/College student with at least 1 year for graduation.
  • Experience as an IT support engineer or technician. 
  • Self-learning new technologies and solving problems independently
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products 
  • Working knowledge of Linux & mac operating systems and management 
  • Familiar with mobile phones (I-phone & Android)
  • Must have basic & fundamental networking skills (OSI model etc.)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Able to rapidly establish good working relationships with other colleagues
  • Team player
  • Ability to multi-task and with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
