What will you do:
We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and creative Senior Compliance Counsel to join a dynamic team in a successful global, publicly-traded cybersecurity company. This person will play a critical role in our Compliance & Ethics Team and the strategic development of our compliance program. As a trusted partner the person will act as a legal advisor with shared responsibility for maintaining and enhancing an effective compliance program and work independently with a variety of stakeholders across the business, such as Sales, Finance and Legal. The position will report to CyberArk’s VP, Compliance & Ethics and is based in Petah Tikva, Israel and may require some international travel.
- Supports the strategic development and management of CyberArk’s compliance program to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and best practice as well as the company’s policies, procedures and business goals
- Develops, maintains, and monitors a wide range of compliance policies and related guidance and procedures
- Maintains, delivers, and expands an effective compliance communication and training program for the organization to promote awareness and understanding of each stakeholder’s compliance and ethics obligations
- Supports design, implementation and management of compliance IT systems as well as the wider automation of the compliance program (including data management and reporting KPIs/analytics)
- Handles the day-to-day operation of the compliance program along with other legal counsel, including providing advice to the business and working with external vendors and advisors where relevant to resolve compliance vulnerabilities
- Conducts periodic impact and risk assessments in coordination with the organization’s other compliance and operational assessment functions to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues
- Helps respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations and policies, conducts appropriate investigations to assess and resolve any non-compliance
What you need to succeed:
- 7+ years of experience practicing law focusing on corporate compliance (such as anti-bribery and corruption, conflict of interest and third party and supply chain risks), with experience working at a publicly traded global company (technology company an advantage)
- LLB degree or foreign equivalent, member of the Israeli Bar
- Native level English, excellent communication and drafting skills, including experience producing executive reports and presentations
- Experience in delivering engaging training and communication campaigns to a wide variety of stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills, team player who is fun to work with and adds value, experience working in global companies and cross-cultural environments
- Great attention to detail and organizational skills, resourceful and results-oriented
- Experience of managing compliance IT systems, with developing data analytics an advantage but not a must
- Creative and pragmatic thinker with strong interpersonal skills, who provides excellent service to their clients and is able to think strategically and establish a “trusted advisor” relationship
