Job Description

As a Senior Software Architect in CyberArk, you will be responsible for our new SaaS based - cloud native products and upkeep the quality of these products by making sure that our systems are robust, efficient, and extensible. In addition, you will ensure that the product’s architecture is capable to rapidly evolve to support the functional and scalability goals.
In order to guarantee the high quality of this product, you will perform architectural activities at the highest standard. You will also build, lead and develop new architects as their mentor until they reach a high level of proficiency and can work independently.

• Lead the execution process of our complex initiatives. Involved to varying degrees in the execution itself (doing it personally, leading a task force, participating in a task force or just providing assistance and guidance).
• Directing our company's most strategic projects from the specification/architecture phase, through the implementation/integration phases till production stage while adhering to rigid schedules and strict quality procedures.
• Meet the NFRs (non-functional requirements) and systems evolutionary roadmap, and identify, neutralize, and mitigate risks.
• Actively refine, distil, and challenge product architecture to fit system development evolution. Recommend new technologies when needed.
• Coach, escort, and mentor the engineering teams
• Participate in the Architects forum to build, improve and enhance CyberArk products.
• Explore new technologies and tools to keep us using cutting edge solutions

What you need to succeed

• At least 2 years of experience as a Senior Software Architect

• Deep familiarity with cloud infrastructures and serverless architectures - preferably AWS
• Experience in conducting the architecture of at least 2 large products
• Solid understanding of security and networking implementation and best practices
• Strong execution, coordination, and project mgmt. skills
• Dealing with complexity - able to create high level models for complex systems with many details
