What will you do:

From the growing market in need of protection with proven security solution and internal promotions, we are actively looking for a Business Development Representative to support our Northern Australia market. As a Business Development Representative, you play an integral role in our strategic customer acquisition and revenue growth goals. You’ll be connecting and communicating daily with IT and Security team in enterprises of all sizes, effectively engaging with them to help them strengthen their security posture against the increasing cyber security threats and risk.


In this role, you will in close collaboration with the sales and marketing team, developing effective new logo landing strategies and tactics. You will generate well-qualified leads, driving opportunities for the ANZ Northern Sales Team. What you need to succeed:

  • Turning inbound marketing qualified leads into opportunities
  • Conducting outbound prospecting into new business acquisition accounts and nurturing them into opportunities
  • Leveraging different methods including phone call, emailing and social media outreach to engage with leads and target persona
  • Becoming an expert in delivering CyberArk’s value proposition and differentiation from competing solutions.
  • Gaining commitment from the prospect to engage in a follow up meeting to learn more about the benefits of CyberArk identity security solution and how it can strength the security posture of their organization
  • Keeping comprehensive and accurate records of all activities and conversations in required systems including SFDC and Outreach
  • Responsible for key activity metrics including:
    • Conversion rates of assigned Marketing Qualified Lead to Sales Qualified Opportunity
    • Meeting Set and Sales Qualified Opportunity created


How will you stand out from the crowd:

  • Familiarity with ANZ Market, mainly NSW and New Zealand
  • Experience in lead qualification, lead nurturing, lead generation and appointment setting
  • Strong communication skills, particularly on the phone, email and social media platform, and cultural awareness
  • Fluency in English
  • Proactivity and readiness to cold call
  • Good internet research skills
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Organized and ability to prioritize business workload in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to work accurately, with strong attention to detail
  • Display initiative in understanding all aspects of the role
  • Good team player and a willingness to collaborate
